Before you send

New York State agency disclosure for landlords and tenants (DOS-1735-f)

New York law requires us to explain who an agent works for. In a rental, a real estate broker or agent may work for the landlord, for the tenant, or for both with everyone's written consent.

An agent who works for one side owes that side loyalty, confidentiality and full disclosure. Ask which role we have before you share anything private. We will give you the full state form to read and sign.

Fair housing notice (DOS-2156)
